Updates:

Added 2014 population figures from source [2].

Source [1], accessed in 2004, listed postal codes for the seven parishes and 52 localities. There were only seven distinct codes mentioned in the document. The last two digits were "00" in all instances. The more recent version has some codes ending in "01".

Change Notice 6 to FIPS PUB 10-4 was published on 2001-01-28. It shows the separation of Escaldes-Engordany from Andorra la Vella.

ISO/DIS 3166-2 (draft international standard), from 1996, showed seven parishes in Andorra, with their codes. The official international standard ISO 3166-2, published on 1998-12-15, mentioned that there were seven parishes, but didn't give names or codes. It said the divisions were "not relevant". ISO 3166-2 Newsletter I-8, published on 2007-04-17, provided ISO parish codes for Andorra that were the same as in the original draft.

All data shown here are from source [2]. The source actually has yearly figures for every year from 1963 to 2012. I selected 1963 because it was the earliest, 1971 because source [3] has the same figures (rounded off) and identified as "1971 census", 1975 and 1989 because those were on the U.S. Census Bureau's list of censuses, and the other dates to fill in the spaces. The U.N. Statistics Division's list of censuses says that the census date for 1989 was 1989-07-12. Population data since 1999 have been compiled from population registers. Data for Escaldes-Engordany before 1978 are probably proleptic, and are shown in square brackets.
