Changes affecting status:

1. Iceland: The regions will be considered the primary divisions.
2. Malta: New regions and local councils added.
3. Philippines: A new region was added.
4. Rwanda: Status of the prefectures changed to province.
5. Timor-Leste: Name changed from East Timor.

Other data added:

I went through the entire column of Statistics links, discarding dead links and adding new ones.
1. Bhutan: Added details of change history.
2. Bolivia: Added populations of departments.
3. Germany: Update on the proposal to merge Berlin and Brandenburg.
4. Greenland: Note about 1973 alphabet reform.
5. Iceland: Added populations, areas, capitals, HASC codes, and population history.
6. Micronesia: Added a detail to change history.
7. South Africa: Eastern Cape province expected to change its name.
8. Turkmenistan: Spelling change for one velayat.

Secondary divisions:

1. Iceland: Added counties.
2. Rwanda: Communes reorganized into districts and municipalities.
