Suppose you're maintaining a set of geographical information, such as a database or a Web site. You bring it completely up to date. Some time goes by. Now, you wonder if there are any updates you should know about. To address that question, I provide this monthly newsletter of statoid updates. These newsletters will describe all the significant geographical changes that are reported on this Web site during a given month.

Another way to track changes to this site is by the Internet Archive . To find former versions of a Statoids page, type its URL into the search field ("Wayback Machine") and click on "Take Me Back". For versions older than 2003, change the URL by replacing "www.statoids.com/" with "www.mindspring.com/~gwil/".
